THE ASSURANCE AND SURETY TO GOD’S PROMISES.

 

(2 Corinthians 1:20)

“For as many as are the promises of God, they all find their Yes [answer] in Him [Christ]. For this reason we also utter the Amen (so be it) to God through Him [in His Person and by His agency] to the glory of God.”


INSIGHTS:

The word assurance in this regards, connote the certainty that God is irrevocably bond to fulfill and perform His Word and promises, because He is not a man that He should lie; and His words that proceeded from His mouth cannot be altered.

Surety in this sense has to do with the person of Jesus Christ, who had already paid the debts we owed and had appended His signature on all God’s promises, and sealed them with His Holy Spirit, as a sure guarantee for their performances and fulfillments.

Therefore beloved, fear not, and do not panic;  but only believe God’s Word, His promises and prophecies, for no word of God shall fail. Faithful is He that promises, and He more than able to perform His Words.


CONFESSION:

I believe therefore I confess that every word and promise of God, with respect to my purposes in life shall all be fulfilled, and none shall want its mate in performance, in Christ Jesus name, Amen.
